Some people believe that a person needs a college education in order to have a successful career. Others believe that a college education is not necessary for success. Which point of view do you agree with? Explain why.
I don't think college education plays a decisive role in a person's career success. This is because, from my perspective, success in different fields refers to different things. There are a lot of jobs that require people to engage in practice, such as sales people. They need to spend a lot of time learning to communicate with people, to find the actual needs of customers. Their time may be better suited to getting into society and learning something they can't learn in class. Besides, I admit that college education can play a positive role in a person's successful career, but that doesn't mean it's necessary. In fact, there are many celebrities who have not completed their college education, but still excel in their fields, such as Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, and so on, all of whom have made outstanding contributions to the computer field.
