I disagree and I believe they should retire as early as possible.
First, old people inevitably want to stay young. Physically it’s hard to do so but mentally they are trying their best. I mean, it’s often to see the seniors around me dancing in squares, challenging their wits by playing chess, doing what they didn’t have time for when they were young, and trying new things. So retiring early gives them the chance to do all these.
Secondly, the seniors fear loneliness. Having free time gives them the chance to meet new people who are younger when doing recreational activities. Or, they may call up old friends and challenge together. Either way they have companions.
