[00:00.00]Student: Hi, is this where I find out about school trips?
[00:10.39]Employee: Yep, sure is. How can I help you?
[00:12.40]Student: Well, I'm looking for information about the ski trip.
[00:14.80]Employee: Oh yeah, we just scheduled one for next month. We haven’t even had time advertise it yet, so you‘ll be the first to sign up.
[00:20.46]Student: Well, actually I want to know about an old ski trip from about 7 years ago. [00:25.09]My brother went on it and he still talks about the wonderful hotel. I think it was a ski lodge that they stayed at.
[00:30.78]Employee: Oh, which one?
[00:31.83]Student: Well, that’s the thing. He can’t remember. My family uh, we're thinking about planning a family ski vacation over winter break and we would like to go there, but...
[00:40.90]Employee: Hmm, I wasn’t working here then and we don't keep record for older trips. But you could check with the newspaper office, they probably advertised, or wrote about the trip when it happened.
[00:50.91]Student: Okay, thanks for the idea. But did you say you have a ski trip planned, maybe it to the same hotel?
[00:57.15]Employee: Probably not. We will be going to the new mountain lodge up at snowy mountain, it was just built last year. [01:03.05]Maybe you should come, I think you'd really like it, the ski slopes are right outside the front door.
[01:08.11]Student: Well, the truth is I am not much of a skier. But the place my brother went to, they have a fireplace and ice-skating rink, game room, basically lots of stuff for people who don’t ski.
[01:18.36]Employee: Oh, well, mountain lodge has all that more, there's live music, dancing. Oh, and they have a really great dining room, at least this gotten really good reviews, the food is supposed to be excellent.
[01:29.84]Student: So, it might be worth it just to get away from our cafeteria food for a couple of days.
[01:34.14]Employee: True! And it’s all inclusive. Students pay one price and then the skiing, ice skating, food, whatever it's all included, even an equipment and lessons.
[01:43.33]Student: It sounds great, do you have brochure or something I can look over?
[01:46.75]Employee: Not yet, we just scheduled the trip yesterday. But you know, the trip planning committee is always looking for new members, they are meeting tomorrow night to discuss the details of this trip, maybe you should come. [01:58.14]You could give them thoughts about scheduling a ski trip that would attract non-skiers as well, maybe suggest some alternative activities.
[02:05.76]Student: Well, if I have the time.
[02:07.50]Employee: If enough people sign up for the trip, the lodge will give this discount, so your input could be really valuable.
[02:13.40]Student: Hum, sounds like fine, maybe I will. But for now, I think I’ll head over to the newspaper office, thanks for your help.
