When I first saw this topic card, I immediately had the idea of telling you about a well-known website named TED. It is my favorite website which was recommended to me by one of my friends couple of years ago. It is best known for its large collection of presentations offered by many experts and professionals from many different countries with varied backgrounds and specializations. Many people, including me, have been inspired by these videos, so I should say that it’s very helpful in my daily life and study.
TED has always focused on discovering people with unique thoughts, achievements and communicative skills and then inviting thousands of audiences to participate these live presentations. With the presenters’ wisdom and inspiration, the audiences both online and offline could gain a better understanding of our world, including the advancement in technology, the breakthrough in fundamental theory and stories of a successful person or enterprise. In a word, it is all about presenting and sharing. So, what I’ve learnt from the videos on this website are the necessary skills, methods and theories which could encourage myself to be a more hard-working person and a smarter learner.
This is also the website I could learn a lot of things from. And I believe that TED and its presentations have made me an informed person. I know for sure that I am already a dedicated fan to it. And without it, I’ll have less fun and motivation in my life.
