One person that I admire（1） is President Barack Obama，the current and 44th president of the United States of America. I admire President Obama because of the policies he is determined to implement，such as health care reform and shifting America’s foreign policy that has been subject to much criticism under the Bush Administration.
Whilst President Obama has made many substantial achievements as a senator，it is what he plans to achieve that I admire most. President Obama，like myself，believes in universal healthcare，that is，every citizen is entitled to （2） health insurance. Moreover，America’s role as a global mediator must be reassessed because I believe politics，not priority，have underscored America’s previous foreign policy.
It is primarily for these two reasons（3） that I admire President Obama and wish him well in undertaking these two of the many difficult challenges ahead of him.
